2028 - Chapter 5

2028 begins with some impactful headline news: Aliens are real, the universe is at war, and everyone on Earth is being conscripted into the Galactic Army - tomorrow. We follow three parallel stories, one of which is Annie Rhodes, Jr., president of Traxton, a town of her making situated off the grid. In the short time Annie has before she and her people are slated to be teleported off-world, she accomplishes two feats: 1) Figures out and neutralizes how the Galactic Army is tracking our species, and 2) captures an alien emissary... Here we find Annie checking in on her prisoner as the town of Traxton prepares to disappear even deeper into the wilderness...
