On the Historical Merits of Loin-Girding - Chapter 24

We pick up with Gideon and Ryia midway through their journey. They have already faced dungeons, mountains, brigands, a king covered in keloids, and certain death at the hands of the feared Gorralax Cavemen. Along with the forsaken prince of Dephentrie, Fika, they are now deep within the Murkwood Forest on their way to the Faded Continent - so-named due to every map depicting its existence having faded with time. A known scourge of the Murkwood is the cursed baffrat, a rodent whose bite causes the bitten to morph into a baffrat themselves. Here, poor Ryia has just awoken to find herself thusly afflicted...
